How much land can be enclosed by a dozen 16 foot beams?
(The beams are straight.)

I suggest that a regular dodecagon would be able to enclose the most area with a dozen 16 foot beams while still being completely enclosed, etc.
Per wiki, such a dodecagon with a 16 ft side would enclose an area of roughly 2866.21501952 ft^2.
